2018 - 2020

In 2018 I developed my monochromatic green palette which I used to render a strong sense of place in the landscapes I was painting. In the summer of 2018 I left school and began studying Philosophy at Exeter University. I didn't know it then, but the knowledge of philosophy that I gained during my degree would go on to inform my practice outside of university and in my postgraduate studies at The Royal College of Art. Despite the pressures of my degree, I continued to create art and, in 2020, I appeared on Sky Art's Landscape Artist of the Year. This propelled me to consider how I could turn my passion for art into a viable career.
